The AlvaLED adjustable MR16 12V Spike Light is a smart, modern Plug & Play garden spotlight. As well as this Plug & Play MR16 version there is also an in-built LED (240v) and GU10 version. The MR16 bulb holder gives multiple options on what type of LED lamp you can use, such as lumen output options, as well as wattage and colour temperature. The U-shape adjustable bracket is extremely adaptable. Not only does the spotlight adjust over 180 degrees, it will also mount in various locations. Mount into soft ground with the supplied 245mm spike, or surface mount with the attached U bracket. In addition, a larger, 40cm pole with 4 fin ground spike is available as a substitute spike. This is particularly beneficial for adding height in areas of high planting or more stability in exposed areas.

Finishes of 12V Spike Light

There are four different finishes of this 12V Spike Light are available which suit all decorative concepts.

Classic black is a a very popular, powder coated finish. This looks great in daylight and disappears when darkness falls. This is the most popular finish due to it’s versatility. Garden Green is designed to blend in with foliage both day and night. The most effective way of lighting a garden is to see the lighting effects but not the light source.

Both the titanium silver and cocoa copper finishes are anodised aluminium, and are extremely weatherproof with a smooth, sleek finish. Not only are they high quality anodised aluminium, they’re a fraction of the price of similar looking, premium materials. The titanium colour is designed to look like contemporary stainless steel, but as a cheap stainless steel spike light alternative. Although a cost effective option, reliabilty and durabilty are not compromised in the slightest. Cocoa, like Titanium, is a also a dupe of a more expensive option, copper. Solid copper spike lights are striking but come with a high price tag. If you want that high end look but it’s out of budget, the Cocoa faux copper spikelights are the perfect option.
