The Starlight Hanging Outdoor Light in elegant Natural Copper, has a traditional look and feel and will weather over time to create a charming natural effect that blends in with various outdoor surroundings. This organic effect on the natural copper happens because it reacts with atmospheric oxygen. This means a ‘Verdigris’ effect may be present after longer periods of time. This oxide layer in fact prevents corrosion and simply adds to the character of the natural copper, creating a traditional, decorative appearance. For a pristine, shiny copper finish a lacquer can be applied to prevent the oxidising process such Simoniz Clear Lacquer.

The ‘Starlight’ hanging down light houses either a G4 or MR16 LED bulb. LEDs reduce running and maintenance costs due to long lifespan and low wattage. Should the LED lamp ever fail, replacement is easy. Simply unscrew the one screw at the top of the cylindrical body to remove then replace the bulb. Certain lighting design features make landscape lighting installation easier; in the case of this 12V hanging light, 1.5m of waterproof 2 core cable is supplied, meaning less cable joins and more choice on the position of the light fitting.

There is a 1.5m brass hanging chain included. If shortening the chain, links should be separated with pliers rather than cut.
