Description

The Decimax recessed light 12v has a 90mm round front bezel, made from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel. Marine-grade (316) stainless steel is a contemporary finish, well suited to outdoor spaces due to its high resistance to pitting corrosion.

Being stainless steel, the Decimax is highly durable as a recessed light 12v. The stainless steel body, shielded beneath a protective sleeving, is 304 stainless steel. The sleeving protects the lower section of stainless steel which mounts into brick (driveway or wall), decking or the ground. The 316 stainless steel front bezel screws

The threaded front bezel attaches to the stainless steel body by screwing together, hence no tools are required to change the lamp. Consequently, this adds to the aesthetic as there are no external screws or fixings. The Decimax is supplied with a clear lens for optimum light output. A single MR16 12v lamp is required (LED version recommended).

Not for use in areas prone to waterlogging or flooding

Plug & Play

The Decimax is supplied with approx 1.5m of  H05RNF cable and also forms part of Lumena’s VERSA Plug & Play Range. For ease of installation, a 2 pin adaptor plugs directly into a Lumena Transformer, or any Versa connectors with no wiring required. If the adaptor is not required, then it can be cut off.  The wire can then be stripped to create a normal connection via a junction box. VERSA Plug & Play connectors are also compatible with other plug and play systems including Techmar and Lighting for Gardens. 1.5m of cable allows up to a 6m space between two lights should it be required, with only one cable join. Also, lights with longer cable lengths can be installed across a wider area. This could cut down the number of cable joins dramatically.
